Terneriffa Stern, stunning flowers photo from Vivian.

It is hard to catch up with the new entries in our Handbook blog. So we jump ahead and show the latest photo entries in this blog.

These exotic flowers are simply hard to ignore. We include them in our Around the World page to brighten up any day of the year. This photo was taken by our prolific Germany based member, Vivian Bvivian of Handbook of Philippine Plants and Flowers. Her photos are very sharp since they are created by her Nikon D3000 camera.

New entry: velvet pink banana - Musa Velutina

Our specimen shown grows in the cool Bgy. Alangilan of Bacolod City. I also saw it sold during an orchid show in QC Memorial circle.
