Scientific name for this cobra vine?


An amazing photo of what ZP M PC calls a cobra vine, with anti rabies and anti snake venom properties.

  1. I have this plant in our backyard that we use for first aid when there is bleeding due to wounds and also use the concoction from its leaves to relieve stomachache. What is the scientific name for this plant? Or other common or local name?

  3. This is an Ipomoea setosa. A species belonging to family Convulvulaceae which is used as alternative treatment for insect and venomous animal bites in the Philippines. The seeds of this plant are not advisable to be ingested, because it is poisonous. It may cause diarrhea and hallucinations.

  7. Gamit din namin yan sa bahay pg may nakakagat ng mga insikto o hayop dito. Gamit din namin sa sakit sa tiyan ulo at katawan. Nawawala ang sakit pginiinum. . .. sakit a ngipin din. Wala naman side effect..... sa he rbal n ito.... mga anak ko kinakain parang mani lng.....

  15. ask ko lang po , yung sa nanay ko binabad nya sa alak tapos iniinom kapag nagkakasakit pwd po ba yun? at balak ko po sana inumin ito araw2 kaso may alak po, kung pwd po inumin araw2 paanu namn ang pag inom ko isang kutsara po ba kada bago kumain ? at pwd po ba to inumin kahit d kapa komakain?

    a effective medicine. It is may family medicine sense l was a child.and l agree this medicine is very good, and helpful of any kind of sickness.
    Because if your body is painful, and then you apply it. Thepain isreally removed in your bodys.like back pain, muscle pain, headache, wounds any kinds of wounds,itchy, and animals bites any kinds of bites& cough, running nose& etc.
